Accessibility goal

The site aims to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time certification, and feedback is welcome.

Measures taken

  • Semantic HTML landmarks, headings, lists, and descriptive page titles.
  • A skip link and visible keyboard-focus indicators.
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation, buttons, links, and résumé dialog.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Responsive layouts that support browser zoom and small screens.
  • Text contrast reviewed against WCAG AA thresholds.
  • Reduced-motion behavior that respects device preferences.
  • Minimum touch-target sizing for mobile navigation and policy links.

Standard and review method

The accessibility target is WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which W3C recommends for making web content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust. The site was reviewed on August 14, 2026 using source-code inspection, keyboard-flow review, text-contrast calculations, responsive-layout checks, and checks for accessible names, landmarks, headings, alternative text, focus visibility, and reduced motion. The U.S. Department of Justice also provides guidance on web accessibility and the ADA.

Known limitations

The embedded résumé preview relies on each browser's PDF viewer, whose accessibility can vary. A downloadable PDF is provided, and an editable or alternative-format copy can be requested by email. Third-party destinations, such as LinkedIn or a visitor's email application, are outside this site's control.
